Luke Needham is a London-based designer and visual artist working across editorial design, branding, visual identity and motion. Originally from the Isle of Man, his practice focuses on building clear, image-led visual systems grounded in strong typographic structure and thoughtful use of image and movement.

Alongside his design work, Luke maintains a personal practice using photography, moving image and print as a space for visual research. This work sharpens his approach to sequencing, pacing and image-making, and informs his work across branding and editorial projects.

Recent work includes developing brand identities, editorial systems and motion assets for cultural and creative contexts, with particular experience in publication-led projects and long-form visual structures.

Luke was selected to design the UAL Graduate Show catalogue, recognised for its clarity and cohesive visual direction, and was most recently commissioned by Hi‑Noon Books to design a booklet of Japanese-translated essays for the Tokyo edition of Found in Translation.
